USQUERT – Ben Woldring has been chosen by the American magazine Business Week as being Europe’s Best Young Entrepreneur. The internet entrepreneur from the Dutch town Usquert received a quarter of all votes.
This was announced by Business Week last Thursday. Woldring gained fame at the age of 13 with his website Bellen.com in which he compared tariffs from telephony providers.
The election from Business Week started this summer, when the magazine asked its readers to propose promising young entrepreneurs. The only criteria were that the candidate should be European en had to be 25 years of age or younger. Eventually sixteen young men became nominated.
During the election another Dutch entrepreneur was selected. Lars Duursma from Rotterdam finished on the third place with his company Debatrix.
